Kua whakatakotohia he rāhui ki Urquharts Bay te wāhi i toromi ai tahi tangata. Mō te kotahi marama ka hiki te rāhui hei te 16th May.
A Rāhui has been placed by kaumatua on Urquarts Bay for one month due to the tragic drowning that took place on Sunday. We send our deepest condolences to the whānau for your loss, the community and first responders.
The rāhui will be lifted in a month's time on the 16th of May.
We urge everyone to be safe in and around the water these holidays, kia mataara e te iwi.
