Our Trustees held our first event in our newly appointed roles as Kaitiaki by holding a lunch with our Kaumātua of Te Waiariki, Ngāti Korora me Ngāti Takapri.
The Kaumatua lunch was an awesome way to celebrate and acknowledge our Te Waiariki Kaumatua. We had over 40 Kaumatua attend the event.
The day encompassed whanaungatanga, exercise, and healthy kai. It was a wonderful beginning to many more kaumatua events.
